On October 7th, I had the privilege of attending a gathering for youth leaders. It was an invaluable opportunity to discuss the challenges we face as leaders (and youth representatives) within the church.
During the event, I came to the realization that there is still so much to learn about the issues that our fellow youth encounter, as well as how to effectively address them, even though I am still a youth myself. A fellow youth leader mentioned how important it is that we come together as youth leaders and share our struggles with each other.
To address this, I created a questionnaire with the aim of exploring the specific struggles young people face. My intention is to tackle these issues one by one, alongside other youth leaders.
Not only did I find it interesting to look at the issues the youth struggle with, while making the questionnaire I wondered if other youth leaders were having the same issue I had. This made me want to explore the difficulties youth leaders battle with and so I made another questionnaire specifically for youth leaders.
If you happen to know any youth or youth leaders who would like to share their experiences with Christianity and the Church do not hesitate to share this post with them. I genuinely hope that through this initiative, we will be able to solve the big issues Christian youth encounter on a daily basis, bring young people closer to God and pass on our shared passion for Christ to the next generation. Together, we can make a difference!
