A year ago, I had the urge to pick up writing. It is something I’ve always loved doing from a young age, and since I hadn’t been creatively active since high school, the strong longing I had made me finally get my own blog.
Originally, the plan was to write stories: fiction, fantasy, romance, and sci-fi. I wanted to explore the different genres and see where my strength was.
After two months of writing generic stories, a thought came to mind: “Is this really what you’re supposed to be writing about? Do you really want to waste your time and gift with these stories? You now have a platform that could be used for the greater good and meaningful messages.”
I thought long and hard before I deleted the old website and made this new one. The goal was to obey that voice, bring myself closer to God and spend time exploring and understanding Christianity beyond the weekly church services and messages. Although I’d always been active in the church, it got to a point where it became a routine and I was spiritually burnt out so this was my own way of really seeking Him out on my own and finding joy in His presence again.
Hence, till date, my blog is still personal and will probably remain personal until God says otherwise.

I’m not a pastor, prophet, reverend, evangelist, or teacher, nor do I aspire to be one but I can live with being a messenger: sharing the good news with those around me and all who are willing to listen.
It’s been a year of continuously challenging myself, holding myself accountable, testing my limits, and not giving up. God knows that ‘doing ministry’ has always been a sensitive topic for me, and I believe He used this past year to show me other ways one can serve Him besides the stereotypical ‘ministry’ we all know & fear; with our gifts and within our capabilities
(1 Peter 4:10 – Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms).
